About the Author
KATHLEEN M. SEAVER
After a major operation, Kathleen vowed sincerely to God: in case she survived, she would plant flowers all over the earth so that they could be seen in Heaven. She has made good on this promise by setting up a flower farm, and the beauty and gentleness that these flowers symbolize. During the 2008 economic crisis, flower sales plummeted dramatically, and health insurance premiums became unaffordable. Experiencing the damage of being without coverage led her to work in the arena of health and life insurance to help keep others out of that situation.
Kathleen has worked in the mainland United States and in Hawaii, where she lived for a few years, taking care of the property and Airbnb hosting. She later went back to the mainland, where she served more than seven years as an insurance inspector on the West Coast. She worked again as a CNA after the insurance inspector job, then as a DoorDash delivery driver to gain her independence after the company lost the majority of its contracts.
This is her first book, but Kathleen has published her experiences in the regional newspapers and magazines. Having an Associates Degree in Science and a great deal of practical wisdom acquired through the experience of life, she likes physics, gardening, cooking, and playing the piano. At the age of seventy-three and a half, Kathleen is now living in a little seaside town, is industrious, working about 6 days a week, and thankful to see a new day. She says that she would retire, but she must pay bills. She states she is grateful to be here at all.
